What a scary thing to go through, being in an accident. It’s often physically traumatizing, as well as mentally and emotionally. And then there’s the aftermath. What if you can’t work, and yet you’ve still got a family who depends on your wages? Even if you don’t have dependents, no one is ever really prepared for having to recover from injuries received in a vehicle crash. And if those injuries will prevent you from being able to go back to the same job you used to have? That can make an already difficult situation feel insurmountable.

It’s because others have had to deal with this terrible situation before that there are laws protecting accident victims from being further harmed by the effects of their injuries. You can be entitled to the difference in your earnings from the at-fault driver’s insurance company. I made a video about wage loss and future wage loss to explain what your rights are and how you can go about exercising them.

I know that folks complain about lawyers sometimes, and just googling “lawyer jokes” brings up about 4 million results. And  yet. Imagine trying to represent yourself in a court of law against a team of lawyers whose single purpose is to give you less money. People who know just about everything there is to know about how to pay less on  your claim. No one wants to be in an accident, that’s for sure, but I can’t imagine anyone who would want to deal with that situation afterwards on their own, either. People and families involved in an auto accident need to focus on healing, not on filing a motion in a courtroom on the correct kind of paper (pleading paper, it’s called). So, if you are facing the challenge of collecting lost wages or looking at a job that will pay you less because you can no longer work in the same capacity, let me help you
